Bauxite mining

Hi all

The trial relating to the bauxite mines tragedy that took the life of three kids started yesterday in the Kuantan Sessions Court 2. 2 suits were filed by the parents of the 3 kids which were latter consolidated to ease hearing. The first day of trial saw 3 witnesses, including 1 child witness, being called to give evidence for the Plaintiffs.

The trial has now been adjourned to 18th till 20th for continued hearing, the first day of which shall be utilized to visit the site to enable parties to get a clearer picture of the place.

The trial went on fine and hope justice will prevail in favor of the children who died in the tragedy. Wrong doers must be punished.
