Land Acquisition compensation

Hi all

Remember I wrote about the land acquisition matter which was removed from the hearimg list on technical grounds? Well, the same finally came up for hearing on 27/08/2019 and the Court surprised us when we were told that there will not be a hearing but a decision instead.

The Court, after taking into account all matters, agreed that the offer by the Land Administrator was insufficient and granted the land owner a further sum of RM46,380-00.

Instructions were given to me to appeal the decision but the law prohibits any appeal if the appeal is on  the issue of compenation. Only questions of law are appealable.
