Bail for murder charge

This picture was taken at the High Court Temerloh premises after successfully obtaining bail for 2 youths charged for murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

I was told by fellow counsels not to make any press statements or give any interviews to the press to avoid pressure on the AG Chambers to appeal.

It was an interesting decision where each youth was released on bail of RM10,000-00 with an additional condition that they report to the nearest police station once every month. The parents paid the bail amount on the same day and the youths were released after almost 1 year of being held in Welfare Department's Hostel in Rusila Terengganu
