Just as we had decided to go slow on our litigation, our Haji Harris was yesterday retained by the families of the 3 children who were found dead in a bauxite mining site in Taman Sungei Karang Jaya, Kuantan.

What surprised us during our visit to the site was the location of the mining site. How could any person in their proper sense of mind allow mining to be carried out about 100 metres from a housing scheme. To add insult to injury, no proper fencing or at all to bar the public from entering the site nor were there any signage around the area warning the public of the danger ahead. 

We have undertaken the brief and are now in the process of initial stages of investigations. We expect to file the Writ within the next month or two.
